This was just a HDRI scene lighting study back when I was working with MirageWorks. I had to prepare for a medusa in shiny armor scene. 3DSMax 8 with Vray renderer.

This one took me about a month, due to the stockphoto that was given to me, I had to ‘chopped down’ lots of trees. It was a vast

jungle, so I had to literally crop one by one the leaves, so I can have my own sets of trees which I can freely position. Another problem was the grass at the foreground, I cannot just simply clone it or it will look super fake and unrealistic. 100% Photoshop. One of my earliest involvements with Commercial Art. The trip back to Penang was dreadful, boring and tiring. The seat was very hard and bad, so trying to sleep was almost impossible. Atleast for me, because I can hear the snoring concert behind me. I took the 11PM bus but only reached Butterworth at about 4:30AM. Without pausing for another minute, I smoked a cig (fasting starts at about 5:40AM) and waited for my wife to arrive and pick me up. I only had tea when we got back home, because I didn’t have any appetite to eat. Aidilfitri is just around the corner, and I’m not ecstatic anymore.

It feels weird to wake up at two different places; in KL and in Penang. Lots of things to do for the house, it’s like going to crumble anytime soon (I’m talking about my mom’s house). So, I’m gonna have to try all my best to get a job in KL so I can take care of my mom and dad. And rebuild the fire-ridden house. If only I can get a job there with decent salary…. I’m trying my best, mom.

This was for ENO Singapore. 99.9% Photoshop, 0.1% 3D. Everything got from purchased stock images. Took me about 2 months to complete

and 6 cartons of cigarettes. It was really fun to do and very pleased with the end result. (c) MirageWorks

My dad is kinda sick, with Hernia. This old guy will never listen to reasons and advices. We’ve been telling him to get a surgery since 3 weeks ago. Despite the facts he’s got all the blackbelts in the world, he’s afraid of the syringe.. Hmm.. How can we persuade him? Any ideas?

And since that my mom has been breakfasting alone everyday, I guess it is appropriate for me to go accompany her eventho just for awhile. My dad is a security guard for Mydin (goddamn cheapskate company) and normally would go back home just around midnight. I’m the only son in the family. Go figure. My wife will not be coming with me, but that’s okay.

Seems like ages to complete this website, and still there are some parts still being worked on. I’m very busy in the office, and with a couple of freelance work still need to be completed.

I have a big project with one of the university here in Penang, and hoping to complete with as soon as possible. In the office, I’m done with SIRIM Johor packaging jobs and will be going to Johor this October for SIRIM’s Showcase. That’s good because I can sleep during the showcase. Hahahaha!

note : Johor is one of the states here in Malaysia. A big piece of land of boringness.
